AutoComps is a vehicle appraisal service operated by Technifirma, Inc. This policy explains what we collect from subscribing companies and their users, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account details: your name, email address, and company. Business records: the appraisals, vehicle details, documents, contacts, and other records you and your users enter into the service. Connection credentials: the access tokens needed for services you choose to link, such as an accounting provider.
We use your data to provide the service, to bill your subscription, and to support you. We do not use your business records for any other purpose.
When you connect QuickBooks Online, AutoComps stores the access tokens Intuit issues, encrypted, and reads or writes only the data your own actions in the service require. We do not access your books beyond that. Disconnecting QuickBooks from your company settings revokes AutoComps' access and deletes the stored tokens. The same applies to any other service you link.
Your data is processed by the hosting and infrastructure providers that run the service, the sign-in provider that authenticates your users, the payment processor that bills your subscription, and a linked accounting provider only when you connect one. Each acts on our instructions to provide the service. We share your data with no one else, except where the law requires it.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you close your account, or on your request, we delete it, except where we must keep a copy to meet a legal or billing obligation.
Your data is encrypted in transit. Credentials for linked services are encrypted at rest. Access to the service is limited to your company's authorized users.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you or your company at any time by contacting support. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
